M Group Holding (Thailand) Announces Major Organizational Restructuring to Drive Innovation, Sustainability, and Global Competitiveness under President Phinchayut Akkharakunlasan

Ms. Phinchayut Akkharakunlasan, President of M Group, said that under the new structure,  M Group operates through subsidiaries in Thailand and abroad, spanning five core business segments: Environment, Innovation & Trade, Media, Transport & Logistics, and Services & Hospitality. The strategic restructuring will enable spin-off of subsidiaries as independent entities, each managed by a new, modern executive team to enhance management capabilities and respond quickly to business opportunities and challenges.

The transformation is guided by three main strategies:

  • Developing internal organizations for sustainable growth by maximizing existing resources and infrastructure.
  • Expanding international trade networks to boost global competitiveness.
  • Promoting joint ventures with capable business partners to share resources, technology, and access new markets.

 

Ms. Phinchayut   said that  M Group is  also expanding into clean energy logistics by partnering with electric truck (EV) companies, and is investing in environmental innovations such as waste management, water treatment, and biotechnology. The goal is to prepare subsidiaries for future listing on the MAI stock exchange.

 

Subsidiaries are now categorized by business type for more efficient management, including:

  • Services & Hospitality: Akkhara Accounting & Business Law, Asia Legal Frontier, M Hospitality Group, M Global Talent, M Horizon Training Center

Internationally, Ms. Phinchayut   said  M Group has a presence in Russia, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, and Myanmar. At the recent Thai Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, M Global Hospitality Group launched luxury hospitality management services, attracting interest from Middle Eastern business partners and planning to expand into wellness, spa, cosmetics, supplements, and medical products.
