สมาคมสตรีอเมริกันแห่งประเทศไทยร่วมส่งเสริมศักยภาพนักเรียนไทยจัดแคมป์พัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษให้นักเรียนจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ภายใต้การประสานงานของมูลนิธิ EDF
This workshop is part of KOICA’s global fellowship initiative, CIAT (Capacity Improvement & Advancement for Tomorrow), and aimed to deepen public understanding of Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy model through a knowledge-sharing session led by a KOICA alumni member.
The key speaker, Mr. Nara Suankaew, Plan and Policy Analyst at the Office of Industrial Economics under the Ministry of Industry, is a 2024 participant of KOICA’s training program “Capacity Building on Bio-Circular-Green Economy (24-25)” and a member of the KOICA Alumni Association Thailand (KAAT).
In his presentation, he explored the convergence of culture and sustainability by comparing Korea’s Green Growth model with Thailand’s BCG Economy approach, offering insights drawn from his KOICA training experience.
The workshop also featured a speech by Assistant Professor Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs at Suan Dusit University, and a session by Dr. Jun Young-suk, Country Director of KOICA Thailand Office, who introduced Korea’s ODA transition from an aid recipient to a donor country, and outlined KOICA’s role in advancing development cooperation in Thailand.
The workshop served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and youth engagement, contributing to stronger bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Korea, while providing students with meaningful insights into the practical application of sustainable development concepts through the BCG framework.
