Khun David brings exceptional expertise and more than three decades of experience in hospitality sales
and marketing. Throughout his distinguished career, he has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic
vision, and a consistent ability to deliver outstanding commercial performance. His achievements include leading high-performing teams and overseeing commercial operations for several globally recognized hospitality brands, including Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, Langham Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La
Hotels & Resorts, and the ARH Group of Hotels in Brunei. His long-standing association with Marriott began in 2008, when he served as Director of Sales &
Marketing at Renaissance Kota Bharu in Kelantan, Malaysia. He later expanded his leadership portfolio through senior roles with Shangri-La Hotel Surabaya, Indonesia, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts Phuket, and Pan Pacific Hotel Group Malaysia. Most recently, he led the Sales & Marketing division for Crossroads Maldives, managing both SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, where he strengthened market presence and delivered impressive commercial growth
across multiple resort properties.
Khun David holds a Master of Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality Management from AIB
University, Australia, as well as professional certifications in Hotel Industry Analytics from the American
Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute and Digital Marketing from the Malaysia Institute of Management. With his proven track record, global experience, and deep industry insight, Khun David will play a vital role in advancing sales and marketing strategies, enhancing brand visibility, and driving continued business success for Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town, Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa Nai Yang Beach, and The Westin Siray Bay Resort and Spa Phuket.
