This underrepresentation is even more pronounced in the Asia Pacific region, where only 5.7% of startups have female founders, as highlighted by a JPMorgan Chase & Co study. These figures underscore women’s persistent challenges in accessing funding, mentorship, and opportunities despite the growing recognition of their contributions to innovation and business growth.
